Rachel Hodson

MSc.(chiro)

Chiropractor

Rachel graduated from Kingston University in 2002 with a first class honours degree in Biomedical Science. Her interest in rehabilative medicine led her onto further training in this field and ultimately to a Masters in Chiropractic from Portsmouth University.  She built on this in private practice in Milton Keynes where she worked with the MK Dons Football Club. Working with a sports team highlighted how minor changes in the body can impact dramatically upon performance and general well-being.  This reinforced how passionate Rachel is about her chosen career and how important it is for Chiropractic to be available to everyone.

Since qualifying Rachel has had a keen interest in Chiropractic care during Pregnancy and for Paediatrics.  It is this interest that brought her to The Octagon Clinic. Working with children is challenging as one has to communicate in a completely different way, this also makes it a real joy.

Rachel is registered with the general Chiropractic Council and a member of the British Chiropractic Association.

Rachel maintains her interest in sport and exercise.  She regularly lectures yoga instructors with regards to child development and how to incorporate this into their routines and is currently preparing for her first triathlon and team adventure training this year.
